This recipe results in thick and firm cookies.
Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 100 g cold butter, diced
- 25 g coconut oil (or some more butter)
- 130 g sugar
- 10 g vanilla sugar
- 0.5 tsp baking soda
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 1 egg
- Chocolate chips
- Walnuts (or any kind of nuts) optional
Instructions
- Cut the butter into cubes, and mix with sugar.
- Add the egg, and all the dry ingredients. Do not overwork the dough.
- Add chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Make two logs (diameter of 5 cm) and store them in a closed container in the fridge. Let rest for at least 30 minutes.
- Take the dough out, slice the logs into pieces of about 3 cm.
- Bake at 180 °C for 12–14 minutes for cookies that are firm, thick and slightly crunchy.
