Ingredients
- Fruits, cut into pieces
- 120 g flour
- 30 g oats
- 75 g butter (or 5 tbsp oil or hard coconut oil)
- 50 g sugar
- 2 pinches salt
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the flour, oats, sugar, and butter. Cover and let it cool in the fridge for at least an hour.
- Mix with your fingers or a fork until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs — there should be some big chunks included. Add a little water if the mixture is too dry.
- Cut the fruit into pieces (you can keep some of the peel for a rustic look).
- Spread the cold crumble over the fruit.
- Preheat your oven to 180 °C.
- Bake for about 30–35 minutes, until golden brown.
Notes
- If using frozen fruits, make sure to throughly thaw them and drain excess liquid before using to prevent the crumble from becoming too watery.
